Here is a picture of the Bread Wall.

And here are close ups of some of the pieces.

Here is the recipe if you would like to make some bread yourself.

1 TBS Yeast

6 cups flour

3 TBS salt

2 cups water

1 egg for decorative egg wash

Stir the yeast into 1/4 cup warm water. Add a tiny bit of sugar and let it sit until it is frothy. Mix the flour and salt together in a stand mixer. Slowly add the yeast and another 1-1/2 cups of water. Add more water until the dough forms a ball. Knead for about 10 minutes. Place the dough in a large oiled bowl. Cover the bowl with saran wrap and let it rise in a draft free spot until it has doubled in size.

Roll out the dough.Using scissors, knives, chopsticks, forks and most of all your hands make the dough into shapes. If you connect two pieces of dough use a little water as glue on the joints and push down firmly. Have fun!

Beat one egg with a fork. Brush your shapes with a pastry brush.

Bake at 350 until they are golden brown, about 1/2 hour.

The bread sculpture will keep for a long time if it is left in the open air. If you put it in a box or plastic bag it will mold.
